• Fire or explosion hazard: When lithium-ion batteries are damaged or mishandled (mechanical damage or overcharging), their internal flammable liquid electrolyte can leak, catch fire and spark at temperatures above 302 °F (150 °C). Such items may burn rapidly with flash ignition. It may ignite other batteries in the immediate vicinity.
• Health Hazard: The electrolyte from the battery can irritate the skin, eyeglasses, and mucous membrane tissue. Combustion may produce irritating, corrosive, or toxic gases. Fumes may cause dizziness or asphyxiation.

First Aid Measures

• Ingestion: If you accidentally ingest the contents of the battery, do not induce vomiting. Consult a physician.
